Jessica Hallmark is a seasoned attorney with deep courtroom experience and a strong commitment to justice. With nearly two decades in legal practice, she has handled complex matters requiring thoughtful analysis, steady judgment, and respect for the law. This is why she’s running for Oakland Probate Judge.
Jessica previously served as a judicial law clerk in Oakland County Circuit Court, gaining firsthand insight into courtroom procedure and judicial decision-making. She is a leader in Michigan’s legal community, serving on the Council of the State Bar’s Real Property Law Section and chairing its Continuing Legal Education Committee.
A graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Law School, Jessica has earned recognition for professional excellence and community service. As Probate Judge, Jessica will bring integrity, compassion, and impartiality to every case.

Jessica Hallmark is an experienced attorney, public servant, and respected legal leader committed to upholding the law with fairness, integrity, and compassion.
With nearly two decades of legal experience, Jessica has built a career grounded in complex legal analysis, responsible decision-making, and client advocacy. Her practice has focused on commercial real estate, business transactions, and liquor licensing, where she has guided individuals, families, and business owners through significant legal matters requiring diligence, clarity, and sound judgment.
Jessica currently practices with Adkison, Need, Allen & Rentrop, PLLC, where she handles high-stakes real estate transactions, business formations, lease disputes, and regulatory compliance matters. Her work demands careful statutory interpretation, attention to detail, and balanced problem-solving — the same qualities essential for a Probate Judge.
Earlier in her career, Jessica served as a judicial law clerk to Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Wendy Potts. In that role, she assisted with hearings, injury trials, reviewed orders and pleadings and helped manage the docket. This experience provided her with invaluable insight into courtroom management, judicial ethics, and the responsibility entrusted to members of the bench.
A graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 2001) and Wayne State University Law School (J.D., 2008), Jessica has remained deeply engaged in Michigan’s legal community. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the State Bar of Michigan’s Real Property Law Section and has been a Council Member of the Section since 2019. She is also an active member of the Oakland County Bar Association, Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce, Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Association for Justice and the Women Officials Network.
Jessica has been recognized for her professional excellence and community service, including receiving the Detroit City Council Spirit of Detroit Award, the Wayne State University Law School Silver Key Award, and recognition by Best Lawyers. She is a frequent speaker and author on developments in Michigan property law, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing legal education and thought leadership.
